How It Works

Effimodal operates a regular combined transport service between the Baltic States and Italy. Freight is collected by road (first mile), loaded onto our cranable curtain-sided trailers, and transported via rail and RoRo ferry through our hub in Lübeck — before final road delivery in Italy (Verona, Milan, Segrate area).

The result: a 42% reduction in CO₂ emissions compared to an all-road journey, while carrying 4 extra tons of payload thanks to the EU Combined Transport Directive.
